Recover Files

There are times when you delete an important file or folder by mistake and you want it back. Or a virus attack leaves you without your precious information that cannot be replaced. When data is deleted from a hard disk, it's not actually gone but just hidden. Supposing that files are not wiped but just deleted, they are still present on the hard disk but cannot be accessed using the regular method. As the name clearly suggests, the program can reverse the deletion process, being able to get any type of data back, assuming it was not overwritten by other files.

The interface of Recover Files is simple enough to be used by any type of user. But in spite of this, the program is strong enough to find any type of deleted files or folder, even if that information was removed a long time ago. All the user needs to do in order to initiate the recovery process is to select the partition from which he wants data back and then click on the Analyze button. After a while, depending on the size of the partition, all the recoverable files will be displayed in a list. Optionally, one can specify some supplementary options regarding the scanning process, like the date the file was modified, the size of the file and so on.

Found files will be automatically organized in categories, according to their type. This way, the user will be able to quickly spot a desired file type. The status of every file is displayed, together with its size and creation date. All the information or only a part of it can be then recovered to a selected folder on the hard disk.
